Major Patrick McAfee, Commander of the Rest and Recuperation Program at Dallas Fort Worth Airport, was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel on Wednesday, August 19th 2009.
Brigadier General MacCarly pinned LTC McAfee minutes before boarding the R&R flight back to Kuwait. Orders for his promotion were received just hours before the ceremony took place.
