In recognition of your Distinguished Service and Personal Contributions
to the U.S. Military Community from Fort Hood and worldwide. Your
personal contributions have made positive and life-changing impressions
on every Soldier, Sailor, Airman and Marine who has been the recipient
of your kindness at D/FW International Airport. Your volunteer spirit
and willingness to support our service members in uniform reflect the
highest credit on you, the Dallas-Fort Worth Military Reception team,
Third Armored Corps and the United States Military.

Dale and Dianna Titel have volunteered, in several capacities, to aid
the Outbound R and R troops at D/FW International Airport.
Seven days a week the Titels arrive at the Manifest area to help the R
and R troops tag and weigh duffle bags in preparation for their return
flight back to the War Zone. Dale informs the troops about the services
of the USO Club while Dianna is instrumental in helping Military
families get security passes so that they can join their spouses at the
departure gate.

Both Dale and Dianna also are USO Volunteers and are Team Leaders in
charge of the Outbound Gate every Friday. At the gate their team talks
and listens to anyone willing to talk to them about any and everything.
About two years ago Dale and Diana saw a need to furnish these troops
with neck pillows. They established "Pillows for Patriots" and Diana
started buying every pillow at every Walgreens in the nearby towns and
giving them out on their shift. When that got too expensive, Diana and
Dale decided that they could make the pillows from scratch and make many
more of them for the same amount of money. To date the Titels have given
about 18,000 pillows to the Outbound Troops. Many of the pillows have
made several round trips as friends have loaned then to friends to help
make their trip more comfortable.

Dale is a member of the Board of Directors of "Dear American Hero" which
is the Federal non-Profit 501 (c)(3) all volunteer group that gives out
the "Thank You" cards which almost everyone in the service has received.

The Titels have served the Military at D/FW every day for the past 27
months and averaged about 4 hours a day
